The original mutation was first observed on a specimen of Philodendron Dark Lord in 2023. The original specimen is shown in the photos NFS.

The cultivar has been propagated through division and offsets for 4 generations and has remained stable and true-to-type. 

This is not found anywhere else in the world and, to date, only one other collector has the pleasure of growing one. This is the second specimen to be released.
